At the bottom of Marina Way in Colonial Beach near Castlewood Park is the town’s boat ramp directly across from paid parking for automobiles pulling trailers. There is no charge for the ramp, but a $35 full day charge for parking a pickup and trailer. An easy and safe way to launch the boat for site seeing or fishing as it is in protected Monroe Bay just off the Potomac River.
